The Patriot is a lot of machine for this price. Super deep, fast recovery speed, great discrimination and spot on target ID. Love, love love this detector!

I have used many “entry level detectors” in testing for my job as manager for a major detector dealer. This is the ONLY detector price in the “entry level” price range that provides performance that blow every other detector from the competition out of the water. With most entry level machines about 6 inches on a coin sized target is considered acceptable. Teknetics changed the game with this detector. It can easily reach targets of 10-12 inches that no other detector at that price point can do. I have done extensive testing with this machine and this is the machine that I recommend to anyone that cannot afford the extra money but still wants the higher performance. There simply is no other machine at this price point that comes even remotely close…..NOTHING.

The target separation and speed of recovery from hitting an iron object is incredibly fast! The east of use is good enough for any new detectorist, and the features will make the advanced user very happy.

This is a fantastic metal detector for the price. Right out of the same 13khz family as the F75 and T2 and performs like part of the family. Tried and proven technology at a bonkers price. Great depth - blazing fast recovery speed - great unmasking and separation with a wide variety of coils. (F75 and F70 coils work...T2 coils do not) Air tests coins 13-14 inches in both DISC and All-Metal. An extremely smooth adjustable threshold in All-Metal that doubles as a size filter and secondary sensitivity function in the DISC mode. Multiple tone options including (DP) Delta Pitch which = 99 tones. A true "Boost Process" (SL mode) just like the F75 and T2 LTD. 40 hours on 4X AA batteries. First impressions with the Teknetics Patriot are it's a light, well-built machine with the capabilities of a higher end detector with a lower end price. First hunt out with the Patriot we hit a plowed field full of iron that has been hunted hard! After a couple of brass rivets the Patriot scored an 1800's three cent piece! Way to go Patriot!

I bought my Patriot after hearing great things and wanting an upgrade. I just have to say that I have scoured my yard with my Titan 9000. One day with the patriot and I get two silvers and three wheats. This thing can really separate the trash and goes deep. I am grateful for Teknetics offering a top of the line machine at this price. This thing is a hot rod!

God Bless America, the Patriot is here! After much anticipation, my new Teknetics Patriot arrived and I couldn't wait to get to swinging it. It came in nice packaging and was easy to setup. It wasn't long before I was going over ground I had detected before with my previous detector and was finding new items I hadn't found before. The Patriot feels great in your hands and with the battery compartment and speaker located at the rear below the arm cuff, the 2.9lb weight is very well balanced. You can definitely swing this one all day without feeling fatigued. The main thing I like about the Patriot is that there are so many ways you can set it up based on your hunting style and soil type. You can go full out noisy, all metal, and learn the language of the machine as many like to do. You can set it up to run silent and have it scream at you when it sees the target range you want. You can set it up to hunt deep (out to 15" per some air tests) It has two speeds, one lets you swing almost as fast as you want without sacrificing its excellent unmasking and separation capability, and a slow speed which is somewhat of a boost mode that adds depth. It comes with 8 tone settings letting you choose how you want to hear your targets including a delta pitch setting which assigns 99 tones to each of the 99 VDI numbers. It has a frequency shift function that will help if you are detecting in close proximity to other metal detectors or if you are getting outside interference. Two customizable programs that allow you set them up how you like. If you like, you can make one a "coinshooting" program and the other an "all metal" program and switch between the two with ease. This Patriot will retain your last settings at shut down so no need to re-program it the next time you want to use it. Teknetics has a homerun hitter on their hands with this detector. You want bang for your buck? This is about as good as it gets. In the past, I think a lot of detectorists shopped based on price point, thinking that if you wanted a "serious" metal detector, you had to spend a ton of money. With this new offering from Teknetics, those times are over. This is one serious machine and a great value!

Very nice detector the patriot will tell you what if you run a delta 4000 you have some stuff to learn so you will find deeper targets cause 4000 runs in the 7.8 MHz the up grade one 13 MHz a big improvement

I have been using the patriot around apr or may I will tell you what this machine works as good as a Garrett at pro or just as good I was going to buy an at pro but shoot I will never go in the water any how but you can get this patriot for 100.00 dollars less and is just a good at larger targets like a full size pop can I was hitting way over 12 inchs think was 14 inchs down I am very satisfied with this detector and 13 MHz compared at 18 MHz for the at pro you will not see any difference thanks teknetics
